Last time I went to Sydney, I did a lot of things, plus I made a friend with one of the crew which he took me sightseeing almost everywhere. This time, although it was winter in Sydney, I decided to go to Bondi beach and also, the Vivid Light festival was in that same week! So I had the chance to experience the festival and to do something different in Sydney as well. I had such a good time with one of the girls. Bondi beach is beautiful and full of surfers, I went again to the Opera House but this time a sat at one of the nice restaurants with an amazing view, had pasta and a nice glass of red Italian’s wine. From there I watched the sunset and enjoyed the vivid light festival which the Opera House was one of the spots of the show. By the way if you ask yourself, What is exactly the festival about?
“Vivid Sydney is an 18-day festival of light, music and ideas. Vivid Light transforms Sydney into a wonderland of ‘light art’ sculptures, innovative light installations and grand-scale projections for all to enjoy – for free. It is a magical celebration of light-design excellence and the world’s largest outdoor ‘art-gallery’: a unique Vivid Sydney experience.”
I really enjoyed the festival, very crowded but nice environment, full of ideas, music and colors everywhere. You can check out the website for more information at > Vivid Sydney.com <
Now, let me share what I like most, PHOTOS! For some reason my best photos comes from Australia, specially Sydney. My friends and my boyfriend loved this album, the sky and light was pretty much in my favor but it was more of Sydney’s nature and sightseeing in which helps take nice pictures.
Like I said above, I spent most of the day at Bondi beach, and this is what my eyes saw…
Sadly by the time the Light festival started I ran out of battery and couldn’t take any photos of the festival. My next project is buying at least 2 cam batteries! I went for dinner with one of the girls. The dish looks strange but it tasted very good, glass of wine with an amazing view and relaxed in front of Operas House. Later in that exact place the festival began with such beautiful lights that covered the entire city.
Of course, I can visit 20,000 times Sydney and 20,000 times I’ll visit the Opera:
After a long day of walking and sightseeing in Bondi beach plus walking and exploring the festival we went dead straight to bed. Had a nice and relaxed evening, hope I’ll visit again soon, you guys know I love Sydney ❤ !
Hope you enjoyed my gallery!
